Hey everyone. I know it has been awhile.. quite awhile. I've been lurking around, but haven't felt the want to say anything until now. My dad passed away the beginning of February, and I've been having to deal with his death, financial difficulties, a health scare with my mom, and the pressures of school these last few months. Needless to say, it has been difficult. Right now I have a job as an art teacher and it has been challenging but enjoyable. I teach students of all ages, but right now I mainly deal with children. I'm still doing art! As you can see I just uploaded a new photograph. I haven't drawn anything since my father's death,

I finally got caught up thanking everyone for the watches, the favorites, and the llamas. I had been back-logged since about the end of August. And because of all my thank yous, DA thinks I'm spamming. So.. hopefully I don't get my account suspended or anything, because that would really suck! So much for being nice, eh? haha I'll probably be uploading more photographs before school starts.. maybe. I don't really have time to just sit here and draw (as much as I would like to) but photographs are easier for me to take and take less time, and it's also because I have a recent obsession with my camera, and I've been experimenting with it. I'm officially on my Christmas break, and I'll have about a month off. Needless to say, I'm very grateful for it. I was able to pull off a 4.0 this semester (all A's in all 6 of my courses), and I'm amazed that I was able to do it given everything that has been going on this semester. I thought things were going well, but when I got home my mom had some news for me. About a month ago the doctors told my parents that they expect that my dad may live another year with chemo, and without, well, she never told me.
